We are looking for enthusiastic and technically motivated AI & Computer Vision Site Engineer Interns who are interested in working on real-world AI projects involving industrial cameras, computer vision applications, hardware integration, and on-site deployment.
As an AI & Computer Vision Site Engineer Intern, you will work alongside experienced AI engineers and site implementation teams to support the installation, configuration, deployment, testing, and maintenance of AI-powered computer vision systems.
You will gain practical exposure to how AI applications operate in real industrial environments, including manufacturing plants, production lines, warehouses, and enterprise facilities.
This is a hands-on, field-based internship requiring candidates to work from the Bangalore office and travel to client locations across India as per project requirements.
You will assist senior engineers during client-site installations, learn to troubleshoot technical problems, and contribute to the successful implementation of AI and computer vision solutions.
Assist senior engineers in installing and configuring AI-based computer vision systems at client locations.
Support the setup of industrial cameras, IP cameras, lighting equipment, and related hardware.
Help configure camera connections, image capture, and video streaming applications.
Assist with deploying Python-based computer vision applications on industrial PCs, servers, and edge devices.
Participate in on-site system testing, calibration, and commissioning activities.
Support engineers in verifying system functionality after installation.
Write and modify basic Python scripts for image processing and automation tasks.
Work with OpenCV for image capture, preprocessing, image enhancement, and object detection.
Assist in testing AI models using live camera feeds and recorded images.
Support the preparation, cleaning, and annotation of image datasets.
Help test object detection, image classification, and defect detection models.
Work with AI developers to identify issues affecting model accuracy and performance.
Learn how industrial cameras are connected and configured for AI inspection applications.
Assist with camera positioning, focus adjustment, calibration, and lighting setup.
Support troubleshooting of camera connectivity and image quality issues.
Gain exposure to industrial computers, GPU systems, sensors, and networking equipment.
Assist in integrating computer vision applications with other industrial systems under senior engineer supervision.
Participate in functional testing of AI and computer vision applications.
Help identify and report issues related to Python applications, cameras, networking, and system configurations.
Assist senior engineers in debugging software and hardware-related problems.
Test computer vision systems under different lighting and operating conditions.
Record testing results, system observations, and technical issues.
Support the deployment team during client acceptance testing.
Assist senior engineers during client meetings, technical discussions, and site inspections.
Understand project requirements and site installation procedures.
Maintain records of installation activities, testing results, and system configurations.
Prepare basic technical reports, deployment notes, and troubleshooting documentation.
Follow client-site safety procedures and technical guidelines.
Support client demonstrations and operational training sessions when required.
Travel with senior engineers to client locations for AI system installation, deployment, and testing.
Work at manufacturing plants, industrial facilities, warehouses, and enterprise client sites.
Be available for short-term or extended site assignments depending on project requirements.
Assist the technical team during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
Follow company and client safety guidelines while working at industrial locations.
Basic knowledge of Python programming.
Understanding of computer vision concepts and image-processing techniques.
Familiarity with OpenCV or willingness to learn it quickly.
Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.
Familiarity with image classification, object detection, or related computer vision applications.
Basic knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems.
Understanding of computer networking concepts such as IP addresses, LAN, and connectivity.
Basic knowledge of Git and software debugging.
Ability to understand and troubleshoot basic technical problems.
Strong interest in AI, Computer Vision, and Industrial Automation.
Willingness to work in manufacturing and industrial environments.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to learn new technologies and hardware systems.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to follow technical instructions and work under the guidance of senior engineers.
Willingness to travel frequently across India and work at client sites is mandatory.
Candidates currently pursuing or recently completing any of the following qualifications may apply:
B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines.
BCA / MCA / M.Tech in relevant technical fields.
Diploma in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
Other equivalent technical qualifications with relevant Python or Computer Vision knowledge.
Final-year students, fresh graduates, and candidates with relevant academic projects are encouraged to apply.
Basic experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or YOLO.
Knowledge of industrial cameras, CCTV cameras, or IP camera configurations.
Familiarity with NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, or edge computing devices.
Basic understanding of PLCs, sensors, and industrial automation.
Experience with college projects involving computer vision, robotics, or automation.
Knowledge of REST APIs and databases.
Familiarity with Docker or Linux-based application deployment.
A GitHub portfolio demonstrating Python, AI, or computer vision projects.
